The Norwegian-German singer and violinist Liv Solveig and the Swedish-German guitarist Sven Götz enchanted their audience with a mixture of Scandinavian folk songs, original compositions, jazz, and pop. From 2009 to 2015 the duo played concerts and festivals in northern and southern Germany.
With her virtuoso violin interludes, Liv Solveig managed to create a wonderful contrast to her soulful voice.
Sven Götz knew how to tastefully combine classical elements as well as jazz and pop in his playing. With open tunings, loops and other elements, he created orchestral sounds.
Their musical collaboration lured the audience into a mysterious Nordic world of sound.
